In order to transform the students to become competent professionals, it is important to practice research based teaching wherein the students get exposed to the emerging state of art in science & technology and equip them for dealing with real-life problem scenarios. Keeping this in view JSSATEN has established the Research & Development Cell to promote sponsored research and/or consultancy projects, industry-academia interaction and hold seminars/workshops/conferences for acquiring state of art knowledge and for dissemination of our expertise in service of the society.

The main functions of R & D cell is to promote and provide support for the following:

Identifying thrust areas of expertise and excellence to facilitate initiating

  • Sponsored projects
  • Industrial consultancy
  • Continuing education programs

Organizing seminars, workshops and conferences in the emerging areas of Science and Technology

Holding faculty development programs at the institute and the University for evolving effective teaching and for laboratory development, especially in the emerging areas where gaps exist

Curriculum development, new program initiatives and syllabi updation incorporating modern trends in association with the university

Student's project / thesis works that are relevant to the industry and the society in tune with our cultural ethos.

We very much welcome industry to send us a list of problems that they would like to get investigated by our students projects and thesis works. We would also solicit proposals from the industry on collaborative projects and /or provide consultancy to your ongoing work.
