ADMISSION THROUGH UNIVERSITY COUNSELING

1. Admission to B. Tech first year

Eighty-five percent of the total intake in the B.Tech. first year will be filled through Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow Counseling, based on the rank in the JEE Main entrance exam, as per the Uttar Pradesh Government's order. For further details, please visit www.aktu.ac.in.

To be eligible for the B.Tech program, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as an optional subject, securing 45% marks in these subjects combined (40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories).

2. Admission to B.Tech. Second year Lateral entry

100% (10% of the total intake in B.Tech first year) of the B.Tech. Second Year Lateral entry quota seats will be filled through Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow Counseling, based on the Combined Entrance Test CUET (Common University Entrance Test) conducted by NTA, as per the Uttar Pradesh government's order. Candidates who have passed a three-year Engineering Diploma from an institution located in U.P. with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST), either with or without graceORCandidates whose parents (Father or Mother) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh, and the candidate has passed a three-year Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). This diploma must be recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P., in any branch of Engineering (excluding Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy, and Architecture).These eligible candidates are qualified for admission into the Second Year of any branch of Engineering/Technology.

3. Admission under Fee Waiver quota seats

In accordance with the AICTE notification, Fee Waiver seats are allocated for economically weaker section meritorious candidates seeking admission in B.Tech., MBA, and MCA courses. These seats will be limited to a maximum of 5% of the sanctioned intake in each course and will be additional to the sanctioned intake. Candidates admitted against these seats will not be charged any tuition fee. The allocation of these seats is conducted through UPTAC counseling. For further details, please visit www.aktu.ac.in.

4.Admission To Kashmiri Migrants In First Year

Direct admission for Kashmiri Migrants in the first year of each institute is allotted as per the directions of AICTE and the U.P. Government. These admissions will be in addition to the sanctioned intake and limited to one admission per Institute affiliated with Dr. APJ AKTU, Lucknow. Comprehensive information will be published in various newspapers and on the University website http://www.aktu.ac.in. 5. ADMISSION THROUGH AICTE

Direct admission to students from the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh under the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) in the first year is allotted in accordance with the directions of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. These admissions will be in addition to the sanctioned intake. The J & K Cell deals with implementation of the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme for students from Jammu and Kashmir, facilitating their pursuit of undergraduate studies outside the state. The J & K Cell is entrusted with ensuring the proper implementation of the scheme to fulfill its objectives for the benefit of Jammu and Kashmir students. 6. Admission through Management Quota

• Fifteen percent of the total intake seats will be filled through direct admission to eligible candidates in accordance with the guidelines of Dr. APJ AKTU and the college policy.
• For B.Tech Program: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as an optional subject, securing 60% marks in the subjects collectively.

Students who have been allotted a seat at JSSATE-Noida through University counseling are advised to report for admission along with the following documents .
