A Seminar on Writing Effective Research Proposal to Funding Agencies was organized on October 8th 2021 from 2:00pm to 4:30 pm at AB III-113. The Speakers of the Seminar are Dr M S Sashi Kumar, Scientist E, Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR) and Dr P R Hariharan, Jr. Technical Assistant, DSIR, GoI. The Guest of Honour of the Event was Dr H R Mahadevaswamy, JD-TED, JSSMVP, Mysore. The meeting was presided by Principal JSSATE Noida Dr. G. M. Patil.

An Online National Conference on Smart Energy, VLSI and Embedded Systems (NCSEVES-2021). The NCSEVES-2021 was co- organized by Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC). This conference was the forum to bring together people, researchers, scientists, software architects, and industry professionals to discuss innovative ideas and diverse topics. Hundreds of attendees, paper presenters, keynote and students have benefited in many ways from this conference. 34 scientific research papers were presented by authors, one Keynote speaker and six session chairs: three external and three internal addressed to audience and shared knowledge.

One Day Online National Conference on Smart Building, Trenchless Technologies & Smart Materials in Manufacturing was organized by Civil and Mechanical Engineering Department on 23rd September, 2021 in collaboration with Construction Industry Development Council, New Delhi.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on “Internet of Things (IoT)” on 12th Feb 2021. The session was conducted by Dr. Krishnamoorthy Raman, Founder and CEO, Navtat Solutions.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a hands-on Session on “Role of IoT in Energy Saving Systems” on 1st Feb 2021. The session was conducted by Dr. A Prashanth, young scientist and Assistant Professor, PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Tamilnadu.

Workshop on “How to build drone” is conducted on 21st January to 23rd January 2021 for students. Resource persons were Mr. Ravikumar, Software Engineer, Digital Shark Technology. The workshop is a part of project sanctioned for 30 lakhs from VGST for setting of IoT lab under CISEE scheme to Dr. Aravind H S, Professor Department of ECE in the year 2018-19.

Dept of Electrical & Electronics Engineering organized One-week Short Term Training Program (STTP) on Solar PV and Storage Systems from Dec 7th to Dec 12th 2020 (Slot-1) and from Dec 14 th to Dec 19 th 2020 (Slot-2). The program is being conducted with the support of ACITE under AQIS Scheme and funding was sanctioned by AICTE

A guest Lecture on “Introduction to IoT and Data Analytics” was conducted on 17th November 2020. Resource person was Prof. T.N. Nagabhushana, Professor in Information System (IS) Department at JSS Science and Technology University, Mysore.
