Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE)

This branch is originated from Electrical Engineering with a flavor of Electronics Engineering. This branch explores the field of High Voltage and Low Voltage operation and control applications and provides multidisciplinary environment. It provides the opportunity to the graduates of this branch to pursue higher education and excel their career in the field of Electrical as well as Electronics.

Electrical and Electronics discipline includes the core electrical subjects along with the subjects related to Electronics Engineering. Thus, this branch provides the advantage of both the branches so that the students are able to appear for the competitive examination related to both the field of expertise. Qualifying the GATE examination from above point of view enable the students to choose their specialization in both the fields and open the gateway to many Public Sector Units viz. BHEL. BEL, GAIL, DRDO etc. those who are practicing in the field of Electronics Engineering. Students of this field can appear for the Government Sector organizations and other examinations that include IES and IAS from both the specializations.

Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech.)

The department of Electrical Engineering has been playing a vital role in producing technologists of highest calibre ever since it was established in the year 1999. The department has state of the art laboratories in the area of Electrical Engineering such as Electrical Machine, Basic Electrical, Simulation Lab, Control & Automation, Power systems & Power electronics etc.

In addition to the strong undergraduate programs, the department has been playing a pioneering role in interacting with the outer world institutions and industries to motivate the students to perform at global level. The infrastructure and lab facilities are upgraded from time to time and provide adequate opportunities for students and researchers to learn and innovate. The department has signed an MOU with Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited for setting up and maintain the Power System Automation and Energy Management state of the art laboratory for fifteen years. This will enable the students, faculty and researchers to upgrade their skills as per the requirement of the industry. Also they will get the opportunity to have placement in the core companies. The department has distinguished faculty, with some faculties holding Ph.D. degrees from renowned institutes in India and some are pursuing Ph.D. from renowned institutions. There is one faculty as Sr. Member of IEEE in the department and many other faculty members are members of several national and international professional bodies.
