The students of II, III and IV year made an Industrial Visit to “M/s Niswa Engg. Solutions” ,
company on 24th August, 2016 (Wednesday) and 27th August, 2016 (Saturday),
2016 during 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. This company is an Industrial Automation based; the visit was very
knowledge enhancing and useful for IC students.
Innovation and product development by III rd year ICE student:
Mr. Kushal Sachdeva III year ICE student has done innovation and developed a product known
as “Gratifier”. It is a small bar that is entangled to any laptop on the side of the screen without
comprising the display. It creates a 2-dimensional invisible plane and any object interfacing with
this plane is analysed as a touch. It is connected to the laptop via USB and power consumption for
the device is negligible.
The students of IC department, third year, visited the SOFTCON Training Institute,
Sec 15, Noida, for an Industrial Visit, in the month of January. All the students of
the pre final year batch visited the Training Institute, and undertook several
informative campus tours and site visits.
MECHANICAL ROBOT WORKSHOP by SPICE (Student Association)
A workshop on Mechanical robots will be conducted in the month of March for
the students of IC Dept., teaching the components and structure of a mechanical
bot and its construction. This workshop will introduce the basic concepts of
SOFT SKILLS WORKSHOP
A soft skills training workshop was organized for the pre final years of the IC
Department, in the month of February, by F.A.C.E Academy (Focus Academy of
career enhancement. The workshop was a week long, and consisted of insightful
advices and classes on the techniques of Group discussion, Personal Interview,
and short cuts for handling quantitative aptitude. The workshop was filled with
interactive activities and sessions.
This workshop aims at introducing the basic concepts of Instrumentation Engineering.
By utilizing these concepts, fabrication of a manually controlled robot is achieved.
This workshop aims at introducing the students to the basic elements of a manually
controlled robot thereby giving them an insight into the field of robotics.
